Are you an organised and detail-focused finance professional looking to join a supportive and growing team? Our client is seeking a Finance Assistant to provide essential financial and administrative support across payroll, client accounts, and reporting. This is a fantastic opportunity to work closely with the National Finance Manager and gain exposure to a variety of finance processes within a professional services environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process monthly payroll and prepare payroll reports, highlighting trends and discrepancies.
- Assist with annual P11Ds, PSA reporting, and resolve payroll queries.
- Support the management of the company car fleet, fuel cards, and insurance documentation.
- Carry out client account tasks, including reconciliations and statement preparation.
- Help employees with travel bookings via Clarity and other ad hoc finance tasks.
- Track daily cashflow against forecasts to ensure sufficient liquidity.
- Support the smooth running of the finance department through general administrative tasks.
What We’re Looking For:
- Knowledge of payroll laws and regulations; CIPP qualification is desirable.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Confident in using Excel and other MS Office applications.
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
- Ability to work collaboratively and provide excellent client service.
