We are currently recruiting for a Stock Administrator/Controller to join a Leighton Buzzard based company in a temporary capacity. Our client are the market leader within their industry, and they are seeking additional staff due to business growth.
Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week. Business hours are between 08:00am - 18:00pm, therefore, you must be available to work within these working hours.
Location: Leighton Buzzard.
Contract Type: Temporary, with the potential to go permanent.
Start Date: ASAP!
Job Overview:
- You would be supporting with the day-to-day warehouse operations, working within the stock control team. This is an admin-based role, working within a warehouse environment, therefore, not always desk based.
Duties:
- Managing and monitoring stock inventory to ensure sufficient stock levels are maintained, preventing shortages or overstocking.
- Reconciling orders, ensuring adequate stock.
- Corresponding with third party suppliers, customers, and internal staff ranging from: Procurement teams, finance, purchasing, sales, and HR.
- Responsible for daily reporting using Excel (basic to intermediate) and SAGE.
- Checking data for errors or anomalies.
- Processing orders, receiving deliveries, and verifying that received goods match orders etc.
- Being a communication point for warehouse department.
- When required, supporting within the warehouse team with pick/packing, and ensuring health & safety is adhered too.
Skills Required:
- Core background within administration.
- Excellent computer skills with knowledge of Excel.
- Working knowledge of SAGE systems is preferred, however, not essential.
- Confident with providing strong customer service.
- Happy corresponding via telephone, email, and internal systems.
- Free for an immediate start.
- Good team player, with willingness to work extra duties.
