Your Role as an ACT:

As a Locum ACT, you'll be a key part of the dispensary team within a private hospital, focused on safe and efficient medication handling. Your responsibilities include:

  • Accuracy checking prescriptions (ACT qualification required)

  • Dispensing medications and supporting day-to-day operations

  • Ensuring full regulatory compliance

  • Handling medication queries from staff

  • Maintaining accurate, organised records

  • Supporting patient safety through high-quality pharmacy service

What We're Looking For:

Essential:

  • GPhC-registered Accuracy Checking Technician (ACT)

  • Clear communication and team collaboration skills

  • Ability to work independently and with initiative

Desirable:

  • Experience in a dispensary-based role

  • Familiarity with hospital pharmacy, NHS or Private

  • Strong understanding of UK pharmacy procedures
