Our clients, a lovely family based in Kensington, are seeking a talented and versatile individual to join their team as a Chef/House Manager. The residence is a beautifully appointed, modern, 4-bedroom lateral apartment with minimalist décor. You will be joining a small team including nannies and cleaners, working closely together to ensure smooth daily running of the household.The ideal candidate will possess excellent culinary skills, capable of preparing delicious and nutritious meals while adhering to specific dietary requirements. In addition to culinary responsibilities, the role will involve overseeing various aspects of household management, including organising, tidying, liaising with the cleaners and ensuring the home is well-stocked with essential items.There is occasional travel required, for up to 2-3 weeks at a time 2 or 3 times a year and generally within Europe. Responsibilities:Prepare breakfast, lunch, and dinner following nutritionist-approved menus, with a focus on Mediterranean cuisine and fresh, high quality ingredients.Manage household orders, including food and other essential products, ensuring everything is well-stocked and in line with preferences.Maintain organisation throughout the home, overseeing tasks such as wardrobe organisation, returns, opening post, dealing with contractor visits and ensuring the home is always presentable.Collaborate with other household staff, including nannies, to coordinate meal plans and ensure all dietary needs are met.Assist with light cleaning duties, particularly in the kitchen area.Requirements:Previous experience as a chef or cook, with a strong understanding of Mediterranean cuisine and nutrition.Ability to manage household tasks effectively, including organisation, ordering, and coordination of various activities.Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with other household staff.Attention to detail and a proactive approach to household management.Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and occasional travel requirements.Ideally a driver Ability to travel for periods of 2-3 weeks Hours/Days:Monday to Friday 8am -6pm with occasional evening hours and some travel required (approximately 2-3 weeks, 2 or 3 times per year).Salary: £60-80k depending on experience
