Greenhouse / Packhouse Supervisor

A well-established horticultural nursery based in Beverley, specialising in growing, handling, and distributing high-quality plants across the UK, is currently seeking an experienced Greenhouse / Packhouse Supervisor to join the team on a temporary to permanent basis.

🔹 The Role

This is a hands-on supervisory position within a greenhouse and packhouse environment. You will oversee daily operations and manage a team of 7 staff members, ensuring productivity, quality, and compliance with industry standards.

🔹 Key Responsibilities

Supervising and leading a team of 7 employees

Managing and processing customer orders

Ensuring compliance with BRC standards

Conducting audits and maintaining accurate records

Overseeing packing, dispatch, and quality control

Maintaining health & safety standards

🔹 Requirements

Previous supervisory experience in a greenhouse, packhouse, or production environment

Good computer literacy

Experience with audits and BRC compliance

Strong leadership and organisational skills

Full UK driving licence (essential)

🔹 Working Hours

Monday - Friday: 7:45am - 5:00pm

Saturday: 7:45am - 1:30pm

🔹 Pay

£13.00 per hour (first 12 weeks)

£14.10 per hour after 12 weeks
