Ritehealthcare is seeking a Registered Manager to join one of our domiciliary care clients in the Teesside area.

Main Duties

• Being responsible for the operation day-to-day management of the Service ensuring continued compliance with relevant legislations.

• Ensuring that Registered Locations are fully compliant with local authority specifications, CQC KLOES and the company's policies and procedures.

• Continuously assess and monitor processes to drive CQC ratings to the maximum standards.

• To ensure the delivery of safe, personalised services to each individual service user through assessment, person centred planning and regular outcome focussed reviews of services.

• Build and maintain efficient relationships with stakeholders.

• To develop and grow services through increasing delivered hours and maximising referral opportunities.

• Implementing system to support, monitor and evaluate care and services provided to ensure good and safe practice in all activities relating to service users care.

• To ensure Service User Pathway is implemented and maintained including regular team meetings, quality assurance visits and surveys.

• Proactively prepare inspections and audits in a timely manner.

• To ensure all staff feel supported and informed of ongoing changes within the business and legislation.

• Investigate safeguarding and escalated complaints providing an effective outcome and liaising with stakeholders and CQC when required.

• To provide a notification to the CQC when dictated as per the company's policies and procedures.

• Compile and provide relevant management and compliance reports to the Operations Manager.

• To identify recruitment needs and develop plans to ensure the service is appropriately resourced with capacity for growth.

• Analyse capacity reports and monitor referrals liaising with the Operations Manager.

• Actively participate in meetings, organise regular team meetings, complete and share Minutes.

• Liaise with the Training Department to monitor training requirements, shadowing etc.

• Undertake risk assessments to identify, report and record and hazards and risks which may affect the health and safety of others.

Skills & Experience

• Previous experience of working as a Registered Manager within the healthcare sector.

• Extensive knowledge and understanding of CQC compliance and regulations.

• Excellent communication skills.

• Full driving licence.

• Flexibility to be part of the on-call rota and available to attend to any emergencies that may arise.
