Machine Operator - Mitcham

Salary: £13.50 per hour
Hours: Afternoon Shift | 2:30pm - 10:30pm | 5 days out of 7

The Role

We are currently recruiting for a Machine Operator to join a busy production site based in Mitcham. The role is based within a production environment, where you will be responsible for operating machinery and supporting the smooth running of the production line.

This is a temp-to-perm opportunity, ideal for candidates with production or machine operating experience who are looking for long-term work.

Key Responsibilities

• Operating machinery safely and efficiently
• Working within a production area
• Monitoring production lines and ensuring smooth operation
• Lifting products and materials up to 25kg
• Supporting general production duties as required
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
• Following all health & safety and food hygiene procedures

Requirements

• Previous machine operating or production experience preferred
• Good English communication skills
• Tamil or Sri Lanken language skills preferred - not essential
• Physically fit and comfortable lifting up to 25kg
• Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
