HGV Class 2 Driver - Temp to Perm Opportunity - Newbury.

We are currently recruiting for a reliable and experienced HGV Class 2 Driver on behalf of our client based in Newbury.

This is a fantastic 12-week temp-to-perm opportunity for an HGV 2 driver with an immediate start available.

Further Information About The Role:

• Monday to Friday
• Typical working hours: 08:00 - 18:00
• Delivering stones, gravel, turf, and garden furniture
• Deliveries to both residential and commercial customers
• 10-12 drops per day
• Vehicle will be pre-loaded, however you will be required to unload using pump trucks and tail lifts
• This is a hands-on HGV 2 role requiring good time management and customer interaction

Pay & Benefits:

• £17.00 per hour (standard rate)
• Overtime available:
  • Saturdays: £25.50 per hour
  • Sundays: £34.00 per hour
• Weekly pay
• After 12 weeks (permanent contract):
  • Salary increases to £33,164.04 per year
  • £50 weekly attendance bonus

Requirements:

• Valid UK HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
• Valid CPC qualification
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card
• Minimum 1+ year HGV Class 2 driving experience
• Flexibility
