Food Production Operative - Temp to Perm
Location: Middleton
Hours: Monday to Thursday 8am-5pm, Friday 8am-2pm
Pay Rate: £12.21 per hour (Overtime available at enhanced rates)
Our client, a market-leading sauce manufacturer based in Middleton, is looking to recruit a Chef to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a minimum of 6 weeks, with the potential to secure a permanent position after 12 weeks.
The Role:
- Mixing ingredients
- Operating machinery
- Weighing and measuring ingredients from a recipe sheet
- Some basic paperwork
- Quality checking the sauces
Requirements:
- Background working in a kitchen or a food production environment
- Recent, solid work history (work references will be checked at interview stage)
- Hands-on, practical skills
- Strong numeracy and literacy skills (tests will be carried out at interview)
- Reliability, good attention to detail, and willingness to learn
