Social Work Assistant / Support Worker - Child & Family Contact WorkLocation: WrexhamRate: Up to £28 per hour

Randstad is currently recruiting for experienced Social Work Assistants or Support Workers to support a family in Wrexham with structured contact sessions.

This role involves working directly with parents to support and guide them in caring appropriately for a baby and siblings. Candidates must be Parent Assessment trained, with the ability to model and teach safe parenting skills during supervised sessions.

• Monday: 2:00pm - 5:30pm

  • 2 hours with baby

  • 1.5 hours with siblings

• Tuesday: 2:00pm - 5:30pm

  • 2 hours with baby

  • 1.5 hours with siblings

• Wednesday: 10:00am - 12:00pm

  • 2 hours with baby

• Supervised contact work with baby and siblings

• Supporting and teaching parents safe care routines

• Observing and recording interactions

• Providing clear, professional feedback

• Working within safeguarding and legislative frameworks

• Dedicated consultant for ongoing support
