*Semi Senior Accountant*

LGS Vision are delighted to be working with a growing, forward-thinking firm of accountants who are currently seeking a Semi-Senior Accountant to join their growing team.

This is a very modern local firm of Accountants situated towards Basildon. They offer a full range of accounting services to their clients, who include sole traders, partnerships and small limited companies.

Semi Senior Accountant 's key duties will include:

• Bookkeeping
• Preparation of accounts from information analysis to finalising accounts
• VAT returns
• Assisting in training junior staff members
• Communicating with clients on a day-to-day basis
• Meeting monthly, quarterly and annual deadlines

Ideal Candidate:

• Minimum 5 years practice experience
• Experience in accounting software - preferably IRIS & Xero
• Good communication skills and experience dealing with clients via email and telephone
• Ability to work within a team but also take on roles independently when required

Package:

• Salary: £30-35K depending on experience
• 20 Days annual leave (plus bank holdiays) - Increasing by 1 day each year of service, up to a maximum of 30 days.
• 40 hour week - Monday to Thursday 8am to 5pm (30 minute lunch break 12-12:30) and Friday 08:30 to 15:00 (Lunch break as normal)
