SEN Teaching Assistant - Thanet

About the Role
Simply Education are working closely with a range of welcoming primary and secondary schools across Thanet who are looking for dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants to support pupils with additional needs.

This is a flexible supply role, ideal for those who want to choose the days they work while keeping the structure of a full school day. You'll be supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis or in small groups, helping them to access learning and feel confident in the classroom.

Key Responsibilities

Supporting pupils with SEN, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH or learning difficulties
Working closely with class teachers and SENCOs to follow support plans
Encouraging positive behaviour and engagement
Providing a calm, supportive and patient approach throughout the school dayWhat We're Looking For

Previous experience working with children with SEN (school-based experience preferred)
A caring, reliable and adaptable attitude
An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
A genuine passion for supporting children's learning and wellbeingWhat We Offer
