A well-established environmental consultancy with a strong multidisciplinary offering is looking to recruit an Experienced Ecologist to support its growing team based close to Bedford. This position presents an excellent opportunity for an Experienced Ecologist to be part of a forward-thinking organisation delivering integrated ecology, landscape, arboriculture and planning services nationwide.

In this role, the Experienced Ecologist will:

Carry out a variety of ecological and protected species surveys
Prepare detailed reports such as Preliminary Ecological Appraisals, EcIAs and Biodiversity Net Gain assessments
Work closely with colleagues across multiple disciplines to deliver projects
Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders and internal teams
Provide support in project coordination and guidance to junior team membersRequirements
To be considered, the Experienced Ecologist should have prior consultancy experience, with strong field survey and technical reporting skills. You should be a member of CIEEM or working towards this. A full UK driving licence is essential, along with full right to work in the UK. Applicants should also reside within a commutable distance of the Bedford office.
