We're pleased to announce that our Accounts Receivables team is growing and we're looking for 2 new German speaking Credit Controllers, to join our team based in Glasgow. In this role, you'll be responsible for maintaining a large portfolio of clients and applying collection activity in line with the current processes to ensure timely invoice payments are met.

Who will you be working for?

Key responsibilities would include, but not be limited to:

  • Manage a portfolio of client accounts ensuring invoices are paid promptly
  • Utilising all available communication channels, prioritising telephone contact
  • Utiliise relationships with key stakeholders to drive query resolution and payment
  • Ensure a best in class client experience
  • Deliver monthly debt, cash collection and DSO targets
  • Produce monthly customer statements
  • Work collaboratively with Sales Ledger, Placement Support and Billing to maintain accurate customer records, including but not limited to; payment allocation, master data management, credit note application etc
  • Attend regular ledger reviews with Credit Control Manager/Team Leader
  • Select and escalate accounts to Legal or Trade Debt Partners where appropriate
  • Maintain accurate records in SAP
  • Managing financial compliance and adherence to SThree process

What skills/experience are we seeking?

  • Native/Fluent German speaker (essential)
  • Previous credit control/finance experience is advantageous but equally open to people with transferable skills
  • Excellent Customer Service skills
  • Excellent communication and problem solving skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
  • Building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Understanding of SAP is advantageous
