The Production Engineer - SMT/Electronics based in St Neots will be working for a leading organisation in the electronics industry. You will ensure all products can be manufactured in a quality assured, reliable, scalable and repeatable manner, removing process variability and risk.

You will define and maintain SMT process, procedures and documentation, to enable operator based assembly of complex PCB and complete product assemblies. You will monitor and improve SMT efficiency, quality and processes.

The ideal Production Engineer - SMT/Electronics based in St Neots will be responsible for:

- Receive and process all incoming technical specifications and data issued from Customers in accordance with company procedures.

- Develop and introduce new manufacturing solutions and processes and products.

- Carry out a critical review of SMT assembly processes for existing products making recommendations for and implementation of process improvements.

- Responsible for 'in-process' Continuous Improvement activities across SMT assembly areas.

- Support New Product Introduction (NPI) and Engineering Change Notes (ECN) by creating new programs for example for Pick & Place, Reflow, Stencils, and Tooling.
