Our client is a market leading provider of advice and consultancy across HR, Health and Safety and Employment Law, looking for the best talent to join their ever-expanding business. As a Field based Business Development Manager, you will be developing new business from scratch, prospecting your potential target market through to closing sales opportunities

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Self-generate new leads, appointments, and referrals through day-to-day new business activity
Building your own pipeline of B2B business, alongside your telemarketing buddy
Attend and close your own sales appointments
Generate and attend meetings with potential introducers and referral partners.
Achieve quarterly sales targets.
Accurately build, manage, and maintain your sales pipeline.
Thrive on working in a fast paced, target focussed high energy and high reward culture.

What you bring to the Team

2 years plus track record of selling in a B2B environment (Industry experience NOT required)
Confidence in value based/consultative selling
Previous experience working in a 100% new business, B2B sales role
Ability to adapt and develop solutions to clients' needs with clear and decisive communication
Ability to sell to different audiences including Business Owners, Board of Directors and HR Managers
