Lunchtime Supervisor - SEN School (Harborne) | Start January | Long-Term Role

Colmore Education is looking to appoint a committed and enthusiastic Lunchtime Supervisor to join a warm and supportive SEN school in Harborne from January. This is a long-term position, and the successful candidate must be available Monday to Friday during term time.

Position: Lunchtime Supervisor
Location: Harborne, Birmingham
Start Date: January
Hours: Part-time (lunchtime hours), 5 days per week
Contract: Long-term, ongoing through the agency

About the Role

This rewarding role involves supporting pupils with a variety of special educational needs during the lunchtime period. The school prides itself on its nurturing environment and is looking for someone reliable, patient and committed to the well-being of the children.

Key Responsibilities

Supervising pupils in the dining hall, playground and indoor areas

*

Supporting children with SEN such as ASD, SLD and complex needs

*

Encouraging positive social interaction and independence

*

Managing behaviour calmly and consistently

*

Working as part of the wider school team to maintain a safe, structured environment

Requirements

*

Minimum 6 months' experience working in UK schools (essential)

*

Previous experience supporting pupils with SEN

*

Must be available Monday to Friday

*

A calm, caring and proactive approach

*

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply through us)

*

Strong understanding of safeguarding
