Randstad is proud to partner with a vibrant primary school in the WF4 area to find a passionate Teaching Assistant. This is an incredible opportunity to have a tangible impact on young learners and be a key part of a great school community.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Supporting teachers in their daily lesson delivery.

  • Helping pupils with their learning, both individually and in groups.

  • Assisting with behaviour support to maintain a positive and inclusive classroom.

  • Getting learning resources and materials ready for the day.

  • Supervising students during activities and breaks to ensure their safety.

  • Maintaining accurate records of student progress.

  • Working closely with all school staff to help achieve shared goals.

Who We're Looking For

We're on the lookout for a committed and compassionate individual! To be a great fit for this job, you should have:

  • A Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification, or equivalent experience.

  • A minimum of 6 months of recent experience in a UK primary school.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • A solid grasp of the primary curriculum and child development.

  • The ability to stay organized and manage your time well.

  • A kind, patient, and understanding attitude.

  • The ability to work effectively as a key team member.

  • A strong dedication to safeguarding and child protection.
