For the successful Transport Administrator our client is offering:

The Role - Transport Administrator:

i. You will receive, enter and co-ordinate customer's orders and provide a high level of customer service across the business working to ISO 9001.
ii. You will be responsible for contract review, order entry, preparation of shipping documentation and dealing with global based customers by email and telephone
iii. Making bookings with freight forwarders, producing all export documentation, invoices, despatch notes, EUR1 and Certificates of Origin
iv. Working out prices and issuing quotations
v. Knowledge of IMDG, ADR and IATA would be useful
vi. Attending meetings to discuss orders with production in order to keep customers updated
vii. Preparing quotations, dealing with customer's queries
viii. General administration, filing, scanning and occasionally standing in on reception when needed.

What our client is looking for in a Transport Administrator:

i. 2 years+ experience within the Transport/Shipping industry is ESSENTIAL
ii. IT competency, knowledge of Microsoft Office
iii. Excellent attention to detail
iv. Excellent communication skills
