Description

Support the Transport team in delivering a safe environment for all colleagues
Efficiently route the companies mixed fleet of vehicles
Take calls from transport colleagues and customers and resolve any issues as and when they arise.
Arranging the day-to-day schedules of the company fleet
Administration of the various company systems
Work with the Transport Supervisor to ensure all areas of legislative compliance is adhered to
Support the Transport supervisor in ensuring all drivers hours, holidays & sickness are captured

Profile

A successful Transport Planner should have:

Proven experience in an established transport operations role
Highly motivated individual with the desire to make a difference
Excellent organisation skills
Strong IT skills on Microsoft Packages
Geographical knowledge of UK - essential
Excellent communication skills
Collaboratively liaise with the sales team to improve customer experience
Support the team to achieve the performance targets required and contributes to the achievement of service levelsJob Offer

An annual salary of £33000 to £37000pa, depending on experience and qualifications.
A temporary position within a well-regarded organisation in the industrial/manufacturing sector.
9am - 5pm working hours with flexibility.
