We're working with one of the UK's most forward-thinking organisations in the built environment and energy space. They're currently seeking dynamic, driven Project Sales Engineer with experience in Building Controls to help expand their footprint across the Midlands and East Anglia.

In this role, your key focus will be:

Championing cutting-edge BMS solutions that help clients reduce energy use and carbon emissions.

Building long-term relationships with clients across commercial property, facilities management, and real estate sectors.

Becoming a trusted advisor in intelligent energy systems, digital buildings, and sustainable solutions.

Key Responsibilities

*

Promote and position advanced Building Management System (BMS) solutions to a diverse client base across commercial property, facilities management, and real estate sectors.

*

Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities while nurturing and expanding existing customer relationships.

*

Act as a trusted advisor to clients by understanding their needs and offering tailored, energy-efficient solutions that support their net zero and sustainability goals.

*

Collaborate with internal teams to deliver technically sound, commercially viable proposals.

*

Maintain a consistent pipeline of activity, from initial enquiry through to project handover, ensuring a seamless client experience.

*

Represent the business at meetings, events, and industry forums to enhance visibility and network with key decision-makers.

*

Keep up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory developments that impact the BMS landscape.

Who We're Looking For

*

Proven experience in BMS sales or within the wider Building Controls/Smart Building environment.

*

Strong commercial acumen with a consultative sales approach and the ability to identify long-term value for clients.

*

Confident communicator with excellent interpersonal skills—able to build rapport with stakeholders at all levels.

*

Technical understanding of Building Control Systems and the ability to translate complex solutions into tangible business benefits.

*

Self-motivated and proactive with the ability to manage your own diary and prioritise tasks effectively.

*

Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to client sites across the Midlands and East Anglia.

*

A passion for sustainability, innovation, and the evolving world of smart infrastructure.
