Salary: £30,559 -£34,314 pro rata, £26,519 - £29,777 actual

Term-time only (plus training days)
· 37 hours per week
· 39 weeks per year

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced and organised Senior Science Technician to join a lovely secondary school in Milton Keynes, rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted. This key role involves leading the science technician team and supporting the smooth, safe, and efficient running of the school’s science laboratories.

The successful candidate will play a vital part in preparing materials and equipment for practical lessons, supporting demonstrations, maintaining stock and inventory, and ensuring compliance with all relevant health and safety legislation, including COSHH.

Ideal candidates will:

• Have a strong background in science, either in education or industry
• Be confident handling chemicals and scientific equipment
• Have experience of leading or managing a team
• Be highly organised with the ability to prioritise and work independently
• Possess strong IT and communication skills
