Business Development Manager (Apprenticeships) - Midlands / Hybrid - Up to £40,000 + bonus
Business Development Manager - A brief overview
• Full time, permanent position for Business Development Manager working from home to promote and offer Apprenticeships.
• A general basis salary (up to £40k) with uncapped commission
• Promoting a variety of levels and sectors within the apprenticeships arena to businesses across the Midlands region in Management and IT Digital Marketing + many more
• Managing existing Apprenticeship accounts and revisiting previous clients (both SME's and levy employers)
The company
• Ofsted grade 2 private training provider
• Prime contract holder
• Specialising in apprenticeships and traineeships training
This is a Monday - Friday. All equipment provided with mileage costs covered for any travel.
Business Development Manager main duties:
• Promoting part funded training programmes such as Work Based Apprenticeships by contacting small to medium businesses in pursuit of them up skilling their existing work force
• Identify and engage with employers to discuss the benefits of enrolling staff on to available training programmes
• Attend meetings with decision makers to discuss their training needs for existing staff
• Maintaining records of employer contacts and keeping an up-to-date pipeline
• Achieving monthly sales targets and reporting on future sales forecasts regularly
• Act as an account manager for all new business secured, maintain employer relationships and maximise all opportunities for Apprenticeships and commercial training
• Building sustainable relationships with key decision makers
Personal skills and experience:
• Previous experience in a similar role within the Training & Education sector - advantageous
• Strong sales, marketing and networking skills
• A solid track record of achieving results in a target-driven sales environment
• Excellent telephone manner and IT Literate with Microsoft applications
• Hard working and self-motivated when working remotely
