Our client, a well-established surveying and engineering company based in Wigan, is currently seeking an experienced CAD Engineer to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a respected business delivering high-quality survey and engineering projects across the UK.

💼 The Role

As a CAD Engineer, you will play a key role in producing accurate and detailed drawings from survey data to support a range of engineering and construction projects.

🛠 Key Responsibilities

Produce high-quality 2D and 3D CAD drawings from survey data

*

Interpret topographical, measured building, and utility survey information

*

Liaise with surveyors and project managers to ensure accuracy

*

Amend and update technical drawings as required

*

Ensure work is delivered on time and to required standards

✅ Candidate Requirements

Strong proficiency in AutoCAD (Civil 3D advantageous)

*

Previous experience working with survey data

*

Excellent attention to detail

*

Ability to manage workload effectively

*

Strong communication skills

Background in surveying or civil engineering

*

Knowledge of UK industry standards

Experience with 3D modelling
