Position Overview

We are currently seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our client's Doncaster site. You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of all plant equipment through effective maintenance, repair, and installation work. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong mechanical skills and a hands-on approach to engineering within a process or manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct day-to-day maintenance of all plant equipment and machinery.

Carry out risk assessments before starting any maintenance task.

*

Install, maintain, and commission new and existing equipment without disrupting production.

*

Perform hands-on mechanical maintenance in line with the planned preventative maintenance (PPM) schedule.

*

Diagnose faults and proactively resolve mechanical issues to reduce downtime.

Candidate Requirements

*

Time-served apprenticeship or a recognised qualification in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering

*

Strong fabrication and mechanical fitting skills are essential.

*

Experience in refrigeration systems is advantageous.

*

Previous experience in a factory, process, or production environment is required.
