The Role

As a Level 3 Early Years Practitioner, you will play a key role in supporting children aged 0–5, helping to create a safe, engaging, and stimulating environment where every child can learn, grow, and flourish. You will work collaboratively with nursery staff to deliver high-quality care and early education in line with the EYFS framework.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver engaging activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
  • Support children’s learning, development, and wellbeing
  • Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
  • Ensure safeguarding and health & safety standards are maintained
  • Observe, assess, and record children’s progress
Requirements
  • Level 3 qualification in Early Years or Childcare (essential)
  • Previous experience in a nursery or early years setting
  • Strong understanding of the EYFS framework
  • A caring, patient, and enthusiastic approach
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
