Our client is a UK Top 20 M&E Contractor and is seeking an experienced mechanical estimator to join them. They provide comprehensive mechanical & electrical solutions to the construction industry, including design, installation, maintenance, and support services. With a strong focus on quality and client satisfaction, they have built a stellar reputation, making them a trusted partner for many high-profile projects.

Due to recent successes, they are now seeking an experienced Mechanical Estimator to join their established team

Mechanical Estimator Responsibilities:

* Provide costings for new tenders and retenders.

* Receive contract variations from within the business and ensure these are communicated to the relevant parties.

* Building cost models that flow freely into the various submission templates that clients utilize and generate cost models for board sign-off packs.

* Attendance at tender review meetings and costing sign off meetings.

Mechanical Estimator Qualifications:

* Technically qualified or equivalent experience in HVAC or Mechanical, commercial services either as an Estimator, Tender Engineer, or Quantity Surveyor.

* Financially competent, with good knowledge of mechanical services pricing.

* Working closely with Business Development and Contract Operations teams in developing technical maintenance solutions.

* Demonstrates high attention to detail, with the ability to effectively prioritize a busy workload, work well under pressure and meet project deadlines.

* Knowledge of mechanical or hard services, or TFM bidding environment.

* Advanced Excel skills and knowledge of relevant software.

* Awareness of public sector tendering would be desirable.

* Liaise with operational and procurement teams to ensure the smooth transition/implementation of new contracts
