Valeco Recruitment is proud to be working in partnership with an established and reputable law firm based in Edinburgh, seeking to recruit a dedicated Legal Administrator to join their busy Residential Conveyancing team in Morningside.

About the Role:

This is a key support role within a high-performing conveyancing department. The successful candidate will be involved in a wide range of administrative and legal tasks, ensuring an efficient and client-focused service.

Main Responsibilities:

* Drafting legal documents and correspondence

* Carrying out property searches via Registers of Scotland and Local Authority portals

* Preparing Land Registration and LBTT forms

* Supporting with fee note preparation

* Handling client and third-party correspondence by phone and email

* Ensuring compliance with Anti-Money Laundering (AML) regulations

Ideal Candidate:

* Proven experience in a legal admin or secretarial role within a property/conveyancing department

* Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities

* Strong communication skills and a professional, friendly approach

* Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)

* Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
