Trident Pain Center is looking for a full-time Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) physician to join their growing practice in Lexington, Columbia.
Physiatrist will provide evaluation of pain management patients with a focus on chronic pain, migraines, joint pain, brain injuries, EMG’s and nerve conduction studies. Physiatrist will also be required to occasionally travel to our other office locations to treat patients.
Education/ Licensure: MD/DO is required. Must be licensed and/or certified by appropriate agencies as required by state law.
Knowledge/Skills: Knowledge of theory and practice to give and evaluate patient care. Knowledge of organizational policies and procedures to administer patient care. Knowledge of common safety hazards and precautions to establish a safe work environment. Skill in applying and modifying the principles, methods and techniques necessary to provide on-going patient care. Skill in identifying problems and recommending solutions. Skill in preparing and maintaining electronic medical records and writing reports. Ability to analyze situations and apply critical thinking. Ability to communicate clearly. Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations. Able to communicate accurately and positively with other health professionals. Good interpersonal skills required.
