We're now looking for an experienced and dedicated Senior Domiciliary Care Assistant to join our supportive and growing team.

The Role

As a Senior Domiciliary Care Assistant, you will play a key role in both delivering exceptional care and supporting the wider team to maintain high standards across our services. You will work closely with service users, families and the care management team to ensure that individuals receive person-centred support that promotes independence, dignity and respect.

Key Responsibilities

Provide personal care and practical support to service users in their own homes

*

Assist with medication, mobility, meal preparation and general wellbeing

*

Conduct spot checks, mentoring and shadowing of junior care staff

*

Support with care planning, documentation and service reviews

*

Report safeguarding concerns and changes in service user needs promptly

*

Maintain clear and accurate records in line with regulatory requirements

*

Ensure care is delivered in line with IOS Care values, policies, and CIW standards

Requirements

✅ Minimum of 2 years' experience in a UK-based care setting
✅ Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
✅ Excellent communication and organisational skills
✅ Ability to work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends
✅ Strong understanding of person-centred care and safeguarding practices
✅ A genuine passion for supporting vulnerable adults
