The Role - Main Duties

*

Supervise whole classes during the short-term absence of teaching staff

*

Deliver pre-set work and ensure lessons run smoothly and productively

*

Apply the school's behaviour policy consistently and effectively

*

Provide targeted support to individuals and small groups where appropriate

*

Liaise with teaching and support staff regarding student progress and behaviour

*

Complete daily administrative tasks, including attendance and incident reporting

*

Take part in ongoing professional development and training

The Ideal Candidate

*

Holds a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in a relevant subject

*

Has experience working in a school or educational environment (desirable)

*

Confident communicator with strong classroom presence

*

Able to adapt quickly across a range of subjects and year groups

*

Familiar with behaviour management strategies

*

Able to provide two satisfactory references

*

Holds a DBS on the Update Service or is willing to apply for one
