You’ll work closely with the Finance Business Partner to provide insight and analysis that helps shape real-world decisions on the factory floor and at board level.What makes this role stand out?You'll be more than just a number cruncher. From cost-per-ton analysis to reporting on raw materials and carbon impact, your work will help drive efficiency, profitability, and long-term strategic growth. You’ll be part of a supportive finance team with plenty of exposure to capital projects and operational leadership.Key responsibilities:

• Preparation of monthly management accounts
• Accruals and prepayments
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Labour and productivity reporting
• Cost and variance analysis (including raw materials like steel)
• Weekly reporting and interpretation of production data
• Carbon reporting and involvement in capital spend projects

What we’re looking for:

• Part-qualified accountant (ACCA / CIMA / ACA) or QBE
• Solid background in a manufacturing environment
• Confident communicator with an eye for process improvement
• Exposure to standard costing is helpful but not essential

Work pattern:

• Based near Burton-on-Trent
• 4 days in the office, 1 day working from home (after settling in)
