An exciting opportunity has arisen for a key leadership role within the Mental Health Services for Older Persons (MHSOP) Sedgefield & Dales Community Team.

The successful candidate will be a forward thinking innovative person with excellent communication skills. You will be a natural motivator with an inclusive approach, confident in coaching and developing others such that they achieve their full potential. You will have significant clinical experience in MHSOP, and be able to demonstrate advanced clinical knowledge relating to older people with mental health needs. Communication is a key element of this role and your skills in this area will be well developed with experience in communicating with a range of professionals. Your focus will be on the needs of the patients and with a willingness to advocate on their behalf.

The applicant will have Independent and Supplementary prescribing qualification or be eligible and willing to undertake this.

This is a challenging role requiring an exceptional candidate; in return the Trust provides excellent training, supervision and coaching opportunities and has a strong focus on talent management.
