MANUFACTURING ENGINEER #HR8OCT18
Job Duties and Responsibilities including though not limited to:
Develop designs and drawings in SolidWorks
CNC programming, including Mastercam, EnRoute, FlowPath, and WINMPM
Coordinate engineering and manufacturing or fabrication activities so products are produced on schedule and meet quality standards and cost objectives
Write Job Instructions and work closely with shop personnel to monitor and assess performance and deadlines
Develop sustainable and standardized processes to meet/exceed expectations in cost, quality improvement, and timely delivery to customers
Set up and implement the manufacturing plan, training for and troubleshoot the process
Develop prototypes and assist with fabrication and perform tests and analysis
Prepare quotations, bids and proposals and submit on time
Assist with engineering sales and customer service
Must be proficient in CAD Solid Modeling Preferably SolidWorks
Mastercam CNC programming experience preferred
Experience with job shop and short run a manufacturing
Knowledge and interest in metal and composite fabrication
Experience and ability to develop fabrication methods and procedures
Must be a team player who works well under pressure, a multi-tasker with good time management and organizational skills
Bachelor’s or Associate Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Ocean or Civil Engineering or (5) years related experience
Strong mechanical aptitude, computer skills, problem solving and technical writing skills
