Plant Technician

We are looking for someone to undertake operation, maintenance and repair of various faciliities and equipment at a research facility in Southampton. This will involve undertaking preventative planned maintenance, but also helping contractors who will do it.

The role may include:

Water (hot & cold 'domestic', chilled, process cooling, purification)
Heating and cooling systems (including sensible cooling)
Waste water
Air handling (including cleanroom environmental control)
Extraction (toxic, solvent, dust)
Compressed air and vacuum systems and associated controls.

You should have exposure to one of more of the above in order to apply for this role.
