Secondary - One to One Tutor required

Salary/ Rate: £75 for 2 hours

Exclusive Education are looking to appoint a Tutor in Ellesmere Port to work with individuals who are in KS3 and KS4.We are looking for a tutor to work 2 hour sessions, the timings can be flexible.The tuition will be on-going until the students have found a school or finish school. If the pupil is still attached to a school, then the tutor will be supported by named school with curriculum planning and resources.

Sessions tend to take place - at home, local libraries and community centres.

Students will be out of school for a multitude of reasons. EG - Permnanet exclusions, SEN needs, Medical Needs and more.

Tutors will be required to complete a weekly session report, summarising the sessions and feeding back anything necessary.

Our referalls come from both the Local Authority and directly from schools.

In order to be considered for this role we require you meet the following criteria;

• Hold a relevant teaching assistant qualification (e.g. PGCE and or QTS)
• Have eligibility to work in the UK or be a UK resident
• Have previous experience of working with children in the last 2 years
• Excellent knowledge of the full curriculum and assessment frameworks
• Experience working with pupils with Special Educational Needs
• Two references working with children
• Hold a current DBS that is registered with the update service or be willing to apply for a new one
