My client is a specialist in securing networks and protecting data that helps some of the largest organisations in the UK and global brands to reduce risk and simplify operational management. In fact, their 10 largest clients have aggregate annual turnover in excess of £780 billion, employ over 779,000 staff and include top 3 players in the fields of financial services, retail and logistics. Public sector customers include local and central government, schools and colleges, police forces and the NHS. The aim of the role is to have primary responsibility for acquiring, developing and retaining business within named accounts, whilst prospecting and developing net new customers. (Leads will be provided by the Business Development team) If you have the following skills and qualities this role could be good for you: IT Sales experience (Channel or End-User) Self-Starter Organised Driven Ambitious Team Player Ability to demonstrate that they can work effectively under his or her own initiative and as a responsible, conscientious and reliable team member Have a general understanding of the Security Sector and an IT environment Successful history of account management and business development Be curious about technology, networks and or IT Security whilst being ambitious and looking for the next goal
