JOB TYPE: Temporary

An exciting opportunity has arisen within our Commercial department for a Commercial Administrator to join the team based in Leeds on a fixed term 12-month contract. This position is well suited to an individual that is looking to gain hands-on experience in a thriving and supportive workplace.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

* Administering and collating checks for Rivendell invoicing, across all Clients

* Raising Invoices for all clients in accordance with the relevant customers process to ensure accurate pricing has been applied before submission and recorded on the day book

* Ensure all costs are applied accurately and in a timely manner to meet monthly deadlines

* Working alongside the Commercial Manager to identify and implement working capital reduction in line with company expectations

* Assist with the Purchase Ordering and receipting goods in process

* Check every job for invoicing in accordance with the relevant client's procedures, collating any extra information/documents as required

* Ensure accurate pricing is applied to all jobs before submission to the client for approval

* Update the relevant system with job status changes at each stage

* Deliver invoice estimates to clients right first time for content and formatting

* Resolve any queries promptly, ensuring any changes to invoice amounts are accurately documented

* Support the Commercial Manager in monitoring daily/weekly/monthly sales reported

* Manage daily/weekly/monthly workload

* Communicate workload, progress and issues to the Commercial Manager

* Ensure that your role is covered in event of sickness and holidays

Key Requirements:

* Good communicator (written and verbal) at all times

* Organised and calm under pressure with excellent attention to detail

* Friendly, approachable and flexible - a team player

* Proactive, positive, enthusiastic - demonstrates “can do” attitude

* Maintain a high level of confidentiality

* Able to work in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment

* Demonstrate problem solving techniques

* Able to organise and prioritise own workload and work to tight deadlines

* Confident with a range of IT applications i.e. Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint
