• Contracted hours: 40 hrs/week (7am-5pm or 8am-6pm)
• Hourly Rate: £16.66/hr Weekdays | £17.66/hr Weekends

Are you an experienced Chef looking for a rewarding role in care?We're hiring a Care Home Chef to deliver high-quality, nutritious meals for residents living with dementia in our warm and supportive residential care setting.

• Lead on menu planning with residents & the Home Manager

• Prepare and serve fresh, home-cooked meals daily

• Cater to special diets, allergens & cultural preferences

• Supervise kitchen staff (up to 6 team members)

• Maintain food safety, HACCP records, and hygiene standards

• Manage stock control and help stay within budget

• Support with inspections (CQC, EHO) and implement actions

• Basic Food Hygiene Certificate (essential)

• Level 3 in Hospitality Supervision (or willing to work towards)

• Experience in a care home or similar environment

• Strong knowledge of COSHH, infection control & dietary needs

• Regular hours: 40 hrs/week, 10-hour shifts
