The Company
Our client is a highly respected main contractor delivering projects across London in high-end residential, commercial refurbishment, fit-out, and regeneration. Their portfolio ranges from multi-million-pound luxury homes in Mayfair and Chelsea, to commercial offices, retail, schools, and regeneration work with local authorities.
With steady growth and directors bringing 50+ years of combined experience, they are now looking for versatile Project Managers with strong trade backgrounds who can adapt to a variety of project types.
 
The Project
The immediate requirement is to take full ownership of a £3m warehouse-to-office regeneration project in Stratford, part of the wider local authority regeneration programme. This scheme runs for 12 months from mid-October and will deliver modern commercial office spaces for small businesses and start-ups. The role involves new build and complex refurbishment, with carpentry at the heart of the works.
 
Key Responsibilities:

Manage the Stratford regeneration project end-to-end, from pre-start through to completion.
Lead site teams, subcontractors, and carpentry packages to ensure delivery on time, within budget, and to a high standard.
Maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and the local authority.
Take ownership of programme, cost control, and quality assurance.
Ensure strict compliance with health and safety regulations on site.
Anticipate challenges and put in place proactive solutions. What We're Looking For:

A trade background, ideally carpentry, with proven Project Management experience.
Track record of delivering both refurbishment/regeneration and new build projects.
Strong understanding of commercial office projects and high-end residential schemes.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage client and stakeholder relationships.
Financial and programme management skills with a focus on risk control.
