Guidewire Integration lead - Claim Centre

Location: Guildford or London - Hybrid - 1 day per week onsite

Start Day: ASAP

Contract Rate: £600 per day inside IR35

Duration: 6 months initially

Role Overview

Our client is seeking a Guidewire Integration Lead (ClaimCenter) to drive the design and delivery of complex integrations across the Guidewire InsuranceSuite. You'll provide hands-on technical leadership, shape integration architecture, and guide developers while ensuring high‑quality, scalable solutions.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead integration design & development across ClaimCenter, PolicyCenter, BillingCenter

* Build solutions using Integration Gateway, App Events, Cloud APIs, REST, batch/async

* Implement secure authentication (OAuth 2.0, Basic Auth, JWT, Identity Federation)

* Oversee error handling, monitoring, logging & production‑ready resilience

* Mentor developers, run code reviews, act as SME in workshops

* Partner with architects, BAs, PMs, QA, and wider teams to translate requirements

* Maintain documentation and drive continuous improvement using scalable practices

Skills & Experience

* 12+ years Guidewire experience, incl. 5-10+ years integration development

* Proven leadership across InsuranceSuite integrations

* Strong in Java, Gosu, REST/SOAP, XML/JSON, Cloud API, batch/async

* Agile/Scrum exposure with JIRA

* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement

Preferred: Guidewire ACE certification, offshore collaboration experience, P&C domain knowledge
