The Role

We are seeking reliable and adaptable Cover Teachers to support our partner schools across Blackpool following the February half-term break. Whether you are an Early Career Teacher (ECT) looking for classroom experience or an experienced practitioner seeking a better work/life balance, we have flexible day-to-day and long-term assignments to suit you.

Key Responsibilities & Keywords

Classroom Management: Facilitate high-quality learning by supervising classes in the absence of the regular teacher.

Curriculum Delivery: Deliver pre-planned lessons across various subjects in Primary, Secondary, or SEN settings.

Student Engagement: Maintain a positive learning environment and keep students focused on curriculum objectives.

Safeguarding: Ensure all school policies, including Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE), are strictly followed.

Requirements

Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or QTLS is preferred, but experienced Cover Supervisors are encouraged to apply.

Experience: Proven track record in UK schools with strong behaviour management skills.

Vetting: All candidates must have a valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one.
