Are you an experienced Material Planner or Production Scheduler looking to take your career to the next level? We are seeking a detail-driven, proactive professional to join a dynamic team at a globally recognised engineering and manufacturing organisation.

What You'll Be Doing:

As a Shop Scheduler & Material Planner, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and timely flow of work throughout our advanced manufacturing facility. You'll be involved in both office-based planning and shop floor coordination, handling everything from work order generation to supplier liaison and logistical planning.

Your Key Responsibilities:

Generate and manage shop floor documentation and schedules

Prioritise and track work orders in line with the manufacturing plan

Coordinate material availability and movement to meet production targets

Liaise with suppliers, stores, logistics, engineering, and planning teams

Identify and resolve planning discrepancies

Ensure all schedules align with MRP plans and customer requirements

What We're Looking For:

Proven experience in material planning or production scheduling within a manufacturing environment

Familiarity with ISO9001 / AS9100 standards is a plus

Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Comfortable using ERP systems and managing databases

Highly organised with a sharp eye for detail

Effective communicator and confident multitasker

Qualifications & Skills:

GCSEs (A-C) in Maths and English (or equivalent)

NVQ Level 2 in Business Administration (desirable)

Project Management skills (advantageous)

A collaborative, proactive, and results-oriented mindset
