Job Title: Criminology Lecturer
Location: Lancashire
Contract Type: Temporary, Full-Time
Rate: £200 - £250 per day

Eden Brown are current recruiting for a dedicated and knowledgeable A Level Criminology Lecturer on behalf of a well-established Further Education College in Lancashire.

This is a full time temporary role to start asap for the rest of the academic year.

The successful candidate will deliver engaging lessons that help students develop a strong understanding of theories, crime and deviance, and the criminal justice system, while supporting them to achieve excellent academic outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality A Level Criminology lessons to Year 1 and Year 2 students
- Plan, prepare and deliver lessons aligned with the A Level Criminology curriculum
- Assess student work and provide constructive feedback to support progress
- Support students in developing analytical, evaluative, and research skills
- Monitor and track student performance and attainment
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments, and progress
- Contribute to a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment

Requirements
- A degree in Criminology, Sociology, Law, or a related discipline
- Teaching qualification (PGCE, CertEd, or equivalent) or relevant teaching experience in further education
- Experience delivering A Level Criminology or Level 3 Criminology qualifications
- Strong communication and classroom management skills
- A commitment to supporting student achievement and engagement
