Brick Cutter / Machine Production Operative
The Best Connection is currently recruiting for a dedicated and hardworking Brick Cutter / Machine Production Operative on behalf of our client based in the Hadnall area. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals seeking long-term employment, with the role initially offered on a temporary basis and the potential to become permanent following a successful trial period.
Key Details- Starting Pay: £12.71 per hour (negotiable depending on experience)
- Role Type: Temporary to permanent
- Start Date: Immediate start available
- Pay Review: Following successful completion of the trial period
- Production Bonus: Available after successful completion of the trial period
Responsibilities- Operating a chop saw to cut bricks to required sizes
- Following production schedules and meeting deadlines
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
- Inspecting bricks for quality before and after cutting
- Supporting general production tasks as required
- Adhering to all health and safety guidelines
Requirements- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to work effectively within a team
- Basic understanding of workplace health and safety
- Good communication skills
- Physically fit for manual handling tasks (lifting and moving materials)
- Reliable and punctual
- Own transport is essential due to location
- FLT Counterbalance (CB) experience would be beneficial
