Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging, hands-on Food Technology lessons to Key Stages 3 and 4.
• Teach students essential cooking techniques and nutritional knowledge.
• Manage the kitchen environment, ensuring all health and safety standards are met.
• Plan and prep ingredients and equipment for practical sessions.
• Inspire students to explore diverse cuisines and healthy eating habits.
• Assess student progress and provide feedback on their culinary creations.

We are looking for someone with:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised qualification.
• Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
• The ability to manage a busy classroom with confidence.
• A current Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to apply for one).
