Venture Recruitment Partners are working with a dynamic accountancy practice, based in Chandlers Ford, in their search for a part-time Accounts Assistant. This is a fantastic opportunity to to build a rewarding career with a supportive team. They are ideally looking for someone 20-25 hours per week, but will be flexible on this for the right individual. What you'll do:

• Process client transactions accurately and efficiently using accounting software (Sage, QuickBooks & Xero)
• Prepare and reconcile bank statements and accounts payable/receivable
• Manage VAT returns for a diverse client base
• Assist the senior team with financial reporting and payroll

What you'll bring:

• Strong understanding of double-entry accounting
• Proficiency in Sage, QuickBooks & Xero software
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills

What we offer:

• Competitive salary of £30,000 - £35,000 pro-rata (based on experience)
