We are currently seeking an innovative, forward thinking, energetic individual for the position of Special Education Teacher at ourMesa Center for Success-East Campus. We value collaboration, innovation, and teamwork in our schools! We believe in a society where all children have the right to a quality education and provide supports and professional development for our teaching staff to reach these goals.

Mesa Center for Success East (MCS) is a public/private partnership school. The partnership provides district with local control and support, fluidity of placements, and significant fiscal savings.

As a Special Education Teacher at our Mesa Center for Success East Campus, you will:

  • Teach a classroom size of around 10 students in a differentiated learning environment
  • Personalize learning
  • Facilitate Middle School to High School students in learning not only curriculum but also social-emotional and life-skills
  • Have the freedom and ability to bring forth teaching methods that are engaging and original.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Valid AZ Special Education Teaching Certificate (Cross-Categorical)
  • OrValid General Education Teaching Certificatewith the ability to obtain Cross Categorical with Educational Assistance from Menta
  • Interest in working with Grades 7-12
  • Valid Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card
  • Experience with working with students with a range of special education disabilities including but not limited to emotional disturbance, autism, cognitive and/or developmental disabilities.
  • Ability to think outside of the box and problem solve.
  • Excellent work ethic and dedication to the children and families we serve.
  • Energetic
  • Well organized, able to multi task and think beyond the classroom walls.
  • Willingness to roll up your sleeves with a "can-do" attitude.

The Menta Group, Special Education Services (Est. 1973) is a network of private and some public-private partnership therapeutic day schools, meeting the social-emotional needs of students PK-Age 22. Programming from location to location varies in special education focus and grade level.

Our accredited therapeutic day schools are in Illinois and Arizona and we are growing!
