Exciting opportunity to join a clean-tech company developing next-generation energy storage technology. Backed by VC funding and major research partners, the business is scaling up following a successful R&D phase and entering pilot trials.

You'll take the lead on designing and developing battery systems and associated electrical infrastructure — working across control systems, PLCs (Codesys), prototyping, and compliance. Hybrid working is fully supported, with approx. 2-3 days a week on-site in Central Scotland.

Key experience:

Electrical/power systems design (ideally to 1000 VAC / 1500 VDC)

AutoCAD/SolidWorks, BOMs, prototyping

*

Knowledge of BESS, PLC programming, and compliance (IEC/CE)

5+ years' experience, a hands-on mindset, and you will help determine the direction of the product and the company.
