Thrive Personnel Ltd are looking to recruit a Production Supervisor to a permanent weekend shift Friday, Saturday and Sunday 12 hour days (36 hour working week).
Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate the activities of production employees on the weekend shift.
Ensure production schedules are met while adhering to quality standards.
Monitor equipment and machinery to ensure proper functioning and perform basic troubleshooting.
Enforce company policies and safety regulations.
Train and mentor production staff.
Maintain accurate production records and reports.
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
Collaborate with other departments to resolve production-related issues.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.
A first aid and fire marshal training certificate
In date FLT licence
Working Conditions:
This is a permanent weekend shift position.
The work environment is a manufacturing facility with exposure to noise, machinery, and varying temperatures.
